After navigating the challenges of the Covid pandemic, the Stratford & District Historical Society is excited to announce a vibrant resurgence with a lineup of engaging programs for 2025/2026!
Reflecting on Our Journey:
We kicked off the 2024/2022 season with a series of successful screenings of the films “The Fawn Family Horse Racing Legacy” and “Under This Roof.” Both events drew enthusiastic audiences and received glowing feedback.
In addition, we proudly participated in the City of Stratford’s recent ‘History Alive’ pop-up event, underscoring our commitment to celebrating and preserving local history. Special thanks to Nancy M. and Michelle B. for their organization and participation of the Historical Society’s contributions to this event.
Looking Ahead:
We have even more exciting events lined up for fall 2025! We are collaborating with Gallery Stratford and the Stratford-Perth Archives to present additional screenings of our documentaries. These events promise not only to entertain but also to educate, igniting discussions about our shared heritage and its significance in today’s world.
